- After having introduced the concept, the term somatotyping will be defined.
- Explanation of each body type and the characteristics by teacher.
- Students will come up with sports that they believe are better suited for each body type. Teacher will give other examples of sports that are better suited for body types.
- After this, flash cards with ‘sporting activities and characteristics’ will be placed in a bag at the front of the class. Students will then be divided into groups. Each student will collect a flash card. Students will discuss in their groups which somatotype is best suited to what is on each flashcard. Each group will present their answers. Points will be awarded to each group for correct answers. The winning group will get a prize.
